Founded in 1992, Gregory, Butt & Wium Inc. (GBW Inc.) was established by the three founding partners. The partners of the firm founded the auditing practice after their employment with SARS where they saw a potential in the market for a medium size firm to provide more affordable services. In 2008, the three founding partners were joined by Eduard Wium. In the past 31 years the firm has grown and evolved to where is is today, trading as Gregory, Butt & Wium Inc.

Our firm believes that we are the right people for the challenge as accountants and auditors for all the needs of our clients. We understand the needs of our clients and have the resources to be able to fulfil these needs. Our profile as set out in this document reflects our firm as a medium size audit firm that has the resources and knowledge to perform quality work in a professional manner. Gregory, Butt & Wium Inc. is registered with The South African Institute of Chartered Accountants and The Independent Regulatory Board of Auditors. Our firm was established in 1992 as a partnership in Pretoria and converted into an incorporated company in 2020. The firm is currently practising from offices in Ashlea Gardens, Pretoria, which is owned by the founding directors.
